David is a serial entrepreneur with several successful startups including GrooveJob.com (which he sold to Internet Brands), DOmedia and advisor to more. David loves the challenge of building businesses and is rarely seen without his laptop. When not with his laptop, you can find David on one of his bikes or wandering with his two pups, Scratch and Duke.
Brooke is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned executive that enjoys building technology based businesses. Most recently he was co-founder of MobileWait, a guest management system for restaurants, which he sold to ProfitStreams. In the past he has lead start-up teams at Neohapsis, Synchrony Communications, and Commwerks. When not working, he enjoys tennis, running, and spending time with his wife, two children and two frenchies.
Andy runs Shaping the Page, a small design studio in Columbus, OH, where he and his wife Emily enjoy helping startups and developers with visual design for websites and user interfaces. He’s also the co-creator of Director-ee, an online community site for ExpressionEngine developers, and Find Bacon, a hip resource to help the designer/developer community find that perfect job. When he’s not pushing pixels or playing with their two children you can find Andy spinning on his flatland BMX bike.
From software development to experimental atomic physics, Chris enjoys a technical challenge. He is currently working on his PhD in Physics at The Ohio State University. In addition to Physics, Chris lends technical expertise and leadership to several other projects. As one of the lead developers with Mobilewait (now part of ProfitStreams), Chris helped develop a market leading novel HTML5 based restaurant management application. When not busy writing code or working on experiments, Chris enjoys riding his bike, working on the house or a good Beer.
Deb is a lost Kansan who has now landed in Columbus, OH and is connecting with creatives, idea lovers, innovators and entrepreneurs. R. Brian Stone, citizen of the world, works in the area of interaction design, information visualization, and user experience, and is a professor of Design at The Ohio State University. His work has garnered numerous awards for design excellence and he’s the author of several articles on the subjects of interactive experiences, usability, information design, and kinetic messages. Apple has recognized Professor Stone as one of the top educational technology leaders in the U.S. with the Apple Distinguished Educator award. Brian is also an antique car enthusiast and has enjoyed traveling the world promoting good design.
Jon has been building digital products and services for the last fifteen years. Prior to founding JUFTi Games, he was a cofounder of DOmedia, an online marketplace for buying and selling out of home media. When he isn’t discussing the artful merging of design, business and technology, he is boxing, traveling or envisioning creative ways to move information. And when he isn’t engaged in those pursuits? Myers, who has lived and worked throughout Asia, is practicing Mandarin Chinese, a tongue he speaks, he says, “at the intermediate level.”
